This bead is part of the Egyptian Paste of Faience Collection. Faience is an
ancient form of clay. The unique quality of this clay is that the glaze is in the clay
and it comes to the surface when fired. Items found in King Tut's tomb were
made from this type of clay.
The bead has .999 silver clay particles throughout the bead.
